Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test – 2025
JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2025-26 will be held in two phases as given below:
a. On Saturday, 12th April, 2025 at 11.30 A.M. in the States of Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II & Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and in the Districts of Dibang Valley and Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in the Districts of Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, in the District of Darjeeling of West Bengal, and Leh & Kargil districts of UT Ladakh.
On Saturday, 18th January, 2025 at 11.30 A.M. in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley & Tawang Districts), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla Districts), Jammu & Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II & Samba) Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand & West Bengal (except Darjeeling), Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Pudducherry. The last date to submit online application is 16th September, 2024.
Online applications are invited for admission to class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas through Selection Test for the session 2025-26.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025 for Admission to Class – VI Important Dates:

Eligibility:
- Candidates who have passed class V before the session 2024-25 or repeater candidates are not eligible to apply. NVS has the right to compare the application data of previous year(s) to identify the repeater candidates. If noticed, admission of such candidates will not be allowed to JNVs through JNVST 2025.
- A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 01-05-2013 and after 31-07-2015 (Both dates are inclusive).
- At least 75% Seats in a district will be filled by candidates from rural areas.
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and Divyang candidates as per Govt. Norms.
- Minimum ¹/3 of the seats are reserved for girl students.
జవహర్ నవోదయ విద్యాలయ ఎంపిక పరీక్ష 2025:
అర్హత: ప్రవేశానికి అర్హత పొందాలంటే విద్యార్థి తప్పనిసరిగా జవహర్ నవోదయ విద్యాలయం ఉన్న సంబంధిత జిల్లాల్లో నివాసి అయి ఉండాలి. విద్యార్థులు 2024-25 విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో ఆయా జిల్లాల్లోని ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రభుత్వ గుర్తింపు పొందిన పాఠశాలల్లో ఐదో తరగతి చదువుతుండాలి. గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల విద్యార్థులకు 75 శాతం సీట్లు కేటాయించారు. వారు 3, 4, 5 తరగతులు గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత పాఠశాలల్లోనే చదివి ఉండాలి. మిగిలిన 25 శాతం సీట్లు పట్టణ ప్రాంత విద్యార్థులకు కేటాయించారు.
వయసు: అడ్మిషన్ కోరుకునే అభ్యర్థి తప్పనిసరిగా 01-05-2013కి ముందు మరియు 31-07-2015 తర్వాత జన్మించి ఉండకూడదు (రెండు తేదీలు కలుపుకొని).
ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష: జవహర్ నవోదయ ప్రవేశానికి నిర్వహించే రాత పరీక్షలో వచ్చే మార్కులు ఆధారంగా విద్యార్థుల ఎంపిక ఉంటుంది.
ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ప్రశ్నపత్రంలో మూడు విభాగాలు (మెంటల్ ఎబిలిటీ, ఆరిథెమెటిక్, లాంగ్వేజ్) ఉంటాయి. మొత్తం 80 ప్రశ్నలు 100 మార్కులకు 2 గంటల సమయంలో ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది.
ఏపీలో తెలుగు / ఆంగ్లం / హిందీ/ మరాఠీ/ ఉర్దూ ఒరియా/ కన్నడ మాధ్యమంలో, తెలంగాణలో తెలుగు / ఆంగ్లం / హిందీ/ మరాఠీ/ ఉర్దూ/ కన్నడ మాధ్యమంలో ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష రాయవచ్చు.
దరఖాస్తు విధానం: ఆన్లైన్లో జేఎన్బీ అధికారిక వైబ్సైట్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనేందుకు అభ్యర్థులు నిర్ణీత ఫార్మాట్లో అభ్యర్థి వివరాలను పేర్కొంటూ పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుడు ధ్రువీకరించిన సర్టిఫికెట్ సాఫ్ట్ కాపీని అప్లోడ్ చేయడం తప్పనిసరిని. దీంతో పాటు అభ్యర్థి ఫొటో, అభ్యర్థి, తల్లిదండ్రుల సంతకాలు, ఆధార్ వివరాలు/ నివాస ధ్రువపత్రాల అవసరం ఉంటుంది.
ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ: ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ఆధారంగా సీటు కేటాయిస్తారు.
