The attention of all the Municipal Commissioners of Urban Local Bodies, where there are Municipal Schools are and also all the Regional Director-cum- Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration in the State is invited to the references cited. In the reference 1st cited, in view of the requests/clarifications received from Municipal Commissioners & RDMAS concerned, a proposal was submitted to Government and requested to consider providing compassionate appointment to the dependents of the deceased Municipal Teachers in the Urban Local Bodies as per the unit of appointments in terms of the Government circular Memo.no.35252/Ser.G/A1/2011-1, GA (Ser.G) Dept., dated 04.12.2013 as decided in the meeting held on 16.11.2022 or to issue suitable orders in the matter, at the earliest.
In the reference 2nd cited (copy enclosed), Government have informed that after careful examination of the matter it is decided to provide compassionate appointment to the dependents of the deceased Municipal Teachers, who were expired prior/after issue of G.O.Ms.No.84, dated 24.06.2022, in Urban Local Bodies as per the unit of appointments in terms of the Government circular Memo.No.35252/Ser.G/A1/2011-1, GA (Ser.G) Dept., dated 04.12.2013 (copy) enclosed) and Government have requested this office to take further action in the matter. Accordingly, necessary instructions were issued to the Commissioners & RDMAS concerned vide references 3rd to 9th cited in this regard.
Therefore, all the Municipal Commissioners of Urban Local Bodies, where there are Municipal Schools and all the Regional Director-cum-Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration in the State are requested to take immediate necessary action on the applications/representations for providing appointment under compassionate grounds to the dependents of the deceased Municipal Teachers, who were expired prior/after issue of G.O.Ms.No.84 MA & UD dated 24.06.2022, in the Urban Local Bodies as per the unit of appointment in terms of the Government Circular Memo. No. 35252/Ser/G/A1/2011-1, GA (Ser.G) Dept., dated 04.12.2013, duly satisfying all other conditions stipulated for providing appointment under compassionate grounds as per the instructions of the Government issued from time to time and report compliance to this office.
All the Regional Director-cum-Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration in the State are also requested to guide the Commissioners of ULBS concerned in their regions and ensure the above instructions are complied with by all the Commissioners in the respective regions.
