Sub: School Education Department – Commencement of Half-a-Day
Schools from March 15th 2025, for the Academic Year 2024-25

O R D E R:
In pursuance with the activities of the School Academic
Calendar 2024-25 in the reference above, it is hereby decided to
declare Half-a-Day schools for classes I to IX w.e.f 15.03.2025 up to
the last working day of the academic year 2024-25 i.e., 23.04.2025,
with timings 7.45 am to 12.30 pm in all management schools including
Government, Zilla Parishad, Municipal, Private Aided and Private
Recognized unaided schools in the State.
Further, in the schools where there are SSC examination
centers, the schools shall be run in the afternoon session from 1:00
PM to 5:00 PM.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education
and District Educational Officers in the State are requested to issue
necessary instructions to all Field Officers & Headmasters of all
Management Schools, including Pvt. Un-Aided Schools, to run Half-aDay Schools w.e.f. 15.03.2025 without fail. Further, they are
requested to issue the following instructions to all Field Officers and
Headmasters of all Management Schools running half-day schools in The state
Strictly implement the half-a-day school timings as per the
School academic calendar.
2. 2nd Saturday in the month of April should be counted as working
day.
3. Adequate drinking water should be provided in all schools with
the support of Gram Panchayat & RWS Department wherever
and whenever required.
4. Classes shall not be conducted in open areas / under the trees
etc., under any circumstances.
5. Keep handy some Oral Re-hydration Solution (ORS) sachets in
every school for use of Students, in coordination with the Medical
& Health Department for use in case if any child affected by Sun /
Heat stroke.
6. Provide buttermilk during Mid-Day Meals in coordination with
local community / Voluntary organizations.
7. Mid-Day-Meals should be prepared and supplied to the students
at the end of school hours and then send students to their
homes.
8. Monitor the above measures closely with the Headmasters,
Inspecting Officers and other officials and see that all
precautions are taken to avoid any hardship to the Students /
Teachers.
The above instructions shall not affect the schedule already
issued for the SA -2 exams for classes 1 to 9.
These instructions should be followed scrupulously.

AP Half Day Schools Time table 2025

ఈ ఏడాది ఎండలు తీవ్రంగా ఉంటాయన్న హెచ్చరికల నేపథ్యంలో ఏపీ విద్యాశాఖ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాష్ట్రంలో మార్చి 15 నుంచి ఒంటి పూట బడులు నిర్వహించాలని విద్యాశాఖ నిర్ణయించింది. దీనికి సంబంధించిన ప్రణాళికను పాఠశాల విద్యాశాఖ విడుదల చేసింది. (AP Half Day Schools Time table 2025)

ఈ ఏడాది మార్చి, ఏప్రిల్, మే నెలల్లో ఎండ తీవ్రత సాధారణం కంటే అధికంగా ఉంటుంద‌ని అలాగే వడగాలులు కూడా తీవ్రంగా ఉంటాయని వాతావరణ కేంద్రం హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేసిన విషయం తెలిసినదే. తెలంగాణ విద్యాశాఖ కూడా మార్చి 15వ తేదీ నుండి ఒంటిపూట బడులు నిర్వ‌హించనున్నది.

అకడమిక్ క్యాలెండర్, 2024-25 ప్రకారం అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ మరియు ప్రైవేటు యాజమాన్యము లలోని ప్రాథమిక, ప్రాథమికోన్నత మరియు ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలు ఒంటిపూట బడులు తేది: 15.03.2025 నుండి 23.04.2025 వరకు 07:45 AM నుండి 12.30 PM వరకు నిర్వహించాలని ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది.

అలాగే 10 వ తరగతి పబ్లిక్ పరీక్ష కేంద్రాలు గల పాఠశాలలు మాత్రం మధ్యాహ్నం 01.15 PM నుండి 05.00 PM వరకు పాఠశాలలు పని చేయవలెను.

ఎండ తీవ్రత దృష్ట్యా గ్రామ పంచాయితీ మరియు RWS సహకారం తో త్రాగునీటి వసతి ప్రతి పాఠశాలలో ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ వారి సహకారం తో ORS ప్యాకెట్లు పాఠశాలలలో అందుబాటులో ఉంచుకోవాలని,  పాఠశాల సమయం ముగిసిన తరువాత MDM విద్యార్థులకు వడ్డించాలి.
